Meet the Entrepreneur

Founder & Managing Director

Madhur founded Origo Capital to bridge his passion for entrepreneurship with his experiences working with world-class companies and CEOs.

Madhur is an operator in every sense. Prior to founding Origo Capital, he spent 10 years operating and growing early and growth-stage technology companies across Asia-Pacific. During this time, he started a micro-insurance distribution business serving millions of customers in Vietnam, originated large-scale strategic partnerships for payments giant Visa (NYSE:V) with leading tech platforms like Uber and Amazon and grew a new business unit at OYO Rooms, Asia’s largest hotel chain. Prior to 2012, Madhur spent 9 years in financial markets at investment banks in Australia and the UK.

Madhur holds a MBA from INSEAD (France), a Bachelor of Economics (B.Ec) and Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) from Macquarie University (Australia). He is an avid Rugby and AFL fan, competitive tennis player and travel enthusiast, having lived in more than 6 countries across Europe and Asia-Pacific and visited more than 50 countries to date.
